Manatee encounter with Astrid from Adventures in Florida was great. We were fortunate to see manatee (s) swimming so close to the kayak. Astrid provided lots of fun details about manatees, alligators, and native birds. The weather was iffy but we still enjoyed the trip.

What a wonderful trip. Astrid, our tour guide, gave the best excursion ever. The kayaks were ready to go upon arrival. Giving a quick lesson on the “how to’s “ of maneuvering are small vessels she included safety first. The pace of the trip was steady with breaks along the way. She spaced it out beautifully. At each resting point there were plenty of interactions with the manatees and other numerous wild life. Her knowledge and ability to spot the animals was first rate. I highly recommend this outfit and Astrid as your tour guide as she is definitely good at what she does and extremely personable. You will truly enjoy yourself and all of your surroundings.
