I found adventures in Florida while looking for Bioluminescent tours to enjoy with my boyfriend and my family. I decided the manatee tour looked amazing and signed up for that. A day or two before the trip a cold front hit and we were a bit worried about a a cold morning trip on the water but we contacted Greg and he assured us the weather wasn’t bad, that cold weather attracted more manatees, and that we could think about it and reschedule if need be. We are so happy to have kept our trip that day as it was absolutely beautiful! We had the pleasure of getting Matt as our tour guide. He is very fun, friendly, and knowledgeable about the wildlife we came across all day. It was a 3 hour trip that ran from 9am to noon, great for everyone including beginning kayakers. Several manatees swam beneath us, we saw countless birds, as well as an alligator and a turtle. We will absolutely be taking more trips by Adventures in Florida, I can’t recommend the trips, and Matt, enough!

We had a great time today on the St. John's river. The weather was perfect and we saw lots of manatees. They were very friendly, coming up to our kayaks, rolling over and letting us reach out and touch them! My teenage nephews enjoyed the trip and my brother in law, who is self admittedly not an "outdoor guy", had a good time. Matt our guide was very informative.

We were so lucky with the weather, bright and beautiful, and not too hot. My husband and I were gifted this trip and since neither of us has kayaked before I was a little dubious. We needn't have worried, Matt was extremely patient and we soon got the hang of it… We saw lots of manatees, an alligator, and so much wildlife. Matt was very knowledgeable and pointed out various birds and talked in general about the wildlife program and other areas of environmental interest. Excellent in every way.
