Your expert instructor will show you the proper techniques necessary to line up the best shot. Combine this adventure with a helicopter tour through the Grand Canyon and one of our ATV. We were picked up from the hotel next door to ours in a very comfortable minibus at exactly the time on the reservation. Once our driver and range officer, Rick, had sorted out the paperwork we were on our way. It was about an hour to the range but Rick filled it easily with very interesting details from his life in the army and police and his family history building and maintaining the Hoover Dam. We got to stop at the Mike O'Callaghan–Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge for the obligatory Hoover Dam photos on the way. There are two ways to get to the viewing point, a long series of ramps or a sort series of steps, both easily manageable but we were glad of the cold water bottles on the seats when we got back. On arriving at the range we were given the choice whether or not to have a go in the 12 seater Monster Truck around the track and this was great fun and very loud! After a recap of the safety briefing that was given on the drive over we were equipped with eye and ear protection and shown where we could stand to take photos. Along with Rick there were three other people controlling the 2 shooting positions and at no time did I feel uncomfortable or that there was insufficient supervision. I had chosen the Gold package as it was for a special birthday and we had a brilliant time. When it came to the highlight with the Barrett M107A my daughter managed to hit two out of the three targets, the hardest ones of course, and my husband hit with all 3 shots! After that it was off for a super tasty burger, except for the ‘bad hunter’ of course ;-) Another very interesting ride back in the minivan accompanied with sounds of shooting as everyone relived their afternoon. I can highly recommend this company and if you can afford it don’t go for anything less than the gold package!

Booked this experience as I specifically wanted to shoot the Barrett 50 cal sniper rifle and it was by far the best price package with the most inclusions and options. We were picked up on time by Jonathan and taken out the the range via a atop at Hoover Dam. The trip there was fantastic and Jonathan’s knowledge of the area and history was extensive and we really enjoyed his commentary. The trip to the ranges in the worlds longest monster truck was a cool feature, and the instructors were professional, great with their instructions, and just really cool guys! The burgers were tasty and went down a treat! Thanks again Jonathan and the guys at Bullets and Burgers for an experience I won’t forget.
