Being experienced shooters, we were fairly prepared for the experience. However, we really appreciated the safety explanations and the precautions that were given to us by our instructor. The weapons were in great condition and the shooting was well organized. Our instructor took care of everything and made sure we had a good time. Shooting outdoors was so much more fun than the indoor ranges we have experienced. The drive is about 50 minutes but it was scenic once we got off I-15 and wound through the hills that border Sandy Valley. For the money, this is a great value. We will definitely be back.

Been to a few other ranges on The Strip and the slower, non-full automatic “let the bullets fly” pace is quite the contrast at GBV (Gun Blast Vegas). The instructor Vincent showed us the different calibers of ammo, how to load mags, how to load each firearm, and how to aim each one. Vincent watches each shooters technique and gives constructive criticism on how to improve. The four firearms are shot a different distances, and each has a different target, including one that goes boom. For me, the move and shoot exercise is extreme rare and a great change from other experiences! We had a reluctant shooter in our group, she only wanted to shoot the pistol, but Vincent was able to get her to shoot the two rifles.

The overall experience was amazing!! Our instructor Vincent was very knowledgeable and humorous. He made this a very enjoyable experience for me and my wife. We learned a lot about loading and unloading rifles. My only regret was that we didn't bring any cash to tip him and there were no atms around. We will definitely be repeating!
