Overview
Experience yoga while floating on the crystal clear waters of Honolulu, Hawaii. Standup paddleboard yoga is a unique adventure that combines the physical challenges of practicing yoga on a paddleboard with the majestic beauty of Hawaii’s oceans and shorelines. Classes available for all levels. Small group sizes ensure personalized attention from our highly qualified instructors, allowing each student to work at their own ability level. The SUP yoga classes include many familiar yoga poses adapted to the water. Most of the poses are done seated, kneeling, or lying down, with a few standing poses as well to work on balance and core stability. Free time is incorporated into each class, giving students a chance to try any poses they would like to work on. Classes end with traditional savasana, a meditation experienced lying on the board with the soft rocking of the oceans waves, fingers and toes trailing into the water, and the mind free to relax and let go.

  • Our classes take place outdoors, in fresh air, limited our risk of spreading the virus. The boards are big and there is naturally at least 6 feet of separation from other guests. You will only use one piece of equipment, you don't have to share with any other guests.

First time in Hawaii for me and First time doing yoga on paddle boards . So much fun yet challenging and relaxing at the same time. My friend Debbie and I enjoyed it very much. Highly recommend. Be definitely back on my next visit.

Second time doing this. It is a great class, and you go at your own pace. I wasn't feeling that well, so a few times i just sat on my board and opted out of the more difficult poses. The instructor doesn't point you out or hassle you at all. It's great. Some folks in my class were really quite good at yoga. I have no yoga experience, but i love the stretching. The last time i did it, there were some seriously funny fellows goofing off in my class. I missed them!

This was a great class on quite still and shallow water. I had a great time trying out some variations on the usual poses to modify for the SUP instability. It was quite hard (would recommend this to people who have done a yoga class before) but no worry about falling as the water was refreshing. Highly recommend bringing a picnic to enjoy the Ala Moana park after too.
