Overview

Manatees! No prior experience needed! You too can Paddle with Sea Monsters! These up to 12 foot long one ton air breathing mammals are the gentlest of the giants of the underwater world! Join us for a passive observation paddle that often results in OMG moments of delight and amazement! Chilly Florida nights in the 40's and 50's brings the manatees to the springs seeking the year round 72 degree spring water. Being that they are a protected/endangered species we'll take a few minutes before the tour to make sure everyone knows the rules and laws surrounding manatees. You'll enjoy paddling on a board, standing or sitting, within a manatee wildlife refuge. Passively observing these giants and other eco wonders during a 2-hour tour with a guide. This unique Florida experience is sure to be the highlight of your vacation and will you make smile every time you recall these magical moments. All equipment is provided. 13 and under are free to ride on their parents board.

No Charge! Children under 13 are free to ride on their parents board. Please add their weight with yours when registering.
Must know how to swim to paddle your own board.
Children 6 and under must wear a vest.
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to start to check in.
Cold and sunny is good. Windy is bad.
When its cold we don't usually see alligators. For 12 years we have a 100% safety record. You are safe with us.

The staff were extremely kind and helpful throughout the whole tour. I was able to meet the manatees up close and take lots of pictures. We were out in the spring about 2 hours which was more than enough to get the most experience out of it. :) Didn’t know manatees were such calm and gentle animals.

We just experienced a once in a lifetime experience with Ned and his crew! Paddleboard Orlando has provided some incredible experiences every time we have booked an event. That’s for families, adults and even group team building exercises. As a lifelong Florida resident and visitor, viewing the Manatees has always been a wonderful experience. Ned and Paddleboard Orlando take this to another level! We were able to get as close as humanly possible to over 30 manatees. Several came up to our paddleboards! Cannot get closer than that. All of us learned things about these incredible creatures and the things we have to do to protect them. Paddleboard Orlando provides top experiences for any visitors and long time residents of Central Florida. Highly recommend the Manatee experience or any of the Wekiva Springs experiences. No experience is necessary! Ned and his crew take care of everything and even novice and first timers on paddleboards will find these experiences a trip of a lifetime!

This trip was amazing! Ned and his team made this first-timer feel comfortable and relaxed in a matter of seconds. The manatees were beautiful! I had an incredible time!
