Our tour guide, Colin was very caring and knowledgable. We had a lovely time riding through Palm Springs discovering the local architecture and history of the area. There is one big hill to enter the canyon but it is well worth the effort. As you ride up the hill through the desert a vista of palms promises something different. Then you hear the sound of running water. The oasis is fed by a mountain spring with crystal clear water flowing in down the mountainside all year round and vanishing back into the ground to feed the aquifer. Colin explained the geology and told us about the local flora and fauna. We also learnt about the history of the area. I am grateful to the Agua Caliente band of Cahuilla Indians for sharing their treasure with us.

The bike tour & hike around Palm Springs with Ben was outstanding! We usually do guided tours on our vacations, but this one had it all! Ben was knowledgeable about the area, history and all kinds of natural phenomena. The hike was beautiful and the early tour gave us a quiet, uncrowded hike, perfect timing! Ben’s guidance and details about the plants, birds and history of the area was exceptional . Excellent ride and tour!

I loved seeing the beautiful landscape via hiking and biking. Our guide Ben was knowledgable, patient, and helpful. My son became ill and he arranged for someone to pick him up I have two regrets. the first, is that I should have read the reviews ahead of time and asked for an Ebike. most of the ride is not challenging at all. There is a spot, that lasts for about 10 minutes that was pretty tough, They didn't really offer them to us, but I know if I would have asked, they would have given me one. I didn't have to stop, but came close. Also the tripadvisor information stated that you get free ice cream on the way back. we did not. They apparently stopped doing this a long time ago.

Yes, that last hill to the hiking portion of the tour is a doozy. And it is true that the ice cream stop got removed. The shop we use had limited hours for COVID and we got out of the habit. Thank you for the reminder! We will look into incorporating that back into our tour.
