Hukilau on the Beach: Paradise Cove keeps the traditions of old Hawaii alive with a nightly Hukilau on the beach. You are invited to participate in the ceremonial pulling of the fish nets to the rhythms of the conch shell and Hawaiian chant Imu Ceremony: At Hawaii's only Imu Amphitheater, take a seat to view the elaborate process of traditional cooking in the Hawaiian underground oven. In a ceremony following the practices and rituals of ancient times, you will see exactly how your delicious Hawaiian meal is prepared. I would not recommend this. We drove for quite a while to get here when in fact our own hotel offered one that I did not know about ahead of time. We ate low quality food and sat a long way from stage. In my opinion for the price this is not worth it. They gave us a shell necklace instead of a Hawaiian flower lei (that was extra). Just poorly done and commercialized which surprised me because of of the reviews I read prior were so good. We were very disappointed.

What gracious hosts! My in laws have a little trouble walking and they let us park right in front and gave us a ride to our seating. They put us close to the food and restrooms and periodically checked on us. They never made us feel like an inconvenience, they almost treated us like royalty! What an amazing experience! The show was absolutely worth it!! A must do while here in Hawaii!

We purchased the Delux Orchid package for better seating but I think even with the basic, it would be fine. All staff were wonderful and accommodating. Show was excellent. The only disappointing part was the food. Kalua pork was salty, seafood mentioned on their site was steamed fish fillet and cupcake for dessert tasted like it was store bought, and it definitely didnā€™t feel like it was a buffet. So when you reserve here, come with the expectation that youā€™re here for the experience and not the food.
