After lunch in our riverside pavilion, paddle 10 miles of whitewater through the Browns Canyon National Monument. Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller
Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
As per industry standards, all participants must sign a Release Form (liability waiver) and/or an assumption of risk form to acknowledge understanding of these risks and assume all risk of participation.
Park and Paddle Package participants must:
Be at least 7 years old with sound body and mind capable of performing specific tasks independently. Must be able to reach 6 feet.
Follow the supervision restrictions on all courses and rapids.
Weigh between 50 lbs and 275 lbs and fit properly into a harness and life jacket.
Wear closed toe shoes.
Read and understand all the instructions in English.
If you are pregnant or have certain disabilities that hinder you from being able to traverse the course, you may not be permitted to participate. This includes participants with a history of head, neck, back, shoulder, or cardiac concerns.

We have just returned from a trip to Buena Vista, and we spent a day at Noah’s Ark doing their “park and paddle” package, where you spend half a day on the aerial adventure in the morning and then raft in the afternoon. We had actually done the same thing three years ago, and enjoyed it so much we wanted to repeat the experience. There were four adults and four kids (ages 13,13,12,11) in our group and every one of us had a fantastic day. The aerial adventure is better than other similar courses I have done in other places. Very challenging, but also totally adaptable to be manageable for everyone in the group. Our afternoon of rafting was so much fun. The adults were in a paddle boat with the awesome Kami, and the kids got their own boat with Anna as their guide. Both guides were excellent, and made the afternoon both fun and exciting. Special mention to Anna for taking on the kids’ boat with such enthusiasm - they all adored her and said it was the best day ever. I would completely recommend this as a great day out.

We purchased the Park & Paddle package and hit the adventure park in the morning and were on the river after lunch. From the time we arrived the staff was outstanding in meeting our needs and taking care of providing direction for what to do and when. Janie was our guide through the ropes course and was a great addition to our family trip. We enjoyed working with her on the ropes course so much we asked if she would go on the rating trip in the afternoon with us, which she agreed. She joined Seth as the two guides for our boat. Both were excellent at their jobs and very personable throughout the trip in pointing out different things along the way and talking to us about their experience in college and what they are going to do after college. They took time to get to know our family and it all cemented the family feel of Noah's Ark. I definitely recommend using Noah's Ark for your adventure needs in the area. We drove over from Colorado Springs (2 hours) and I would do it again before using anyone else.
