I won a free pub crawl tour through one of their Facebook contests, but would gladly pay to do this again. The pedal trolley is a great activity concept imported from cities like San Francisco and Nashville, right into the continuously more bustling downtown of Pensacola. Drew, the owner of Pensacola Pedal Trolley and our driver for the night, was gracious, fun, and knowledgable about both the great city of Pensacola and the history of similar trolley services. The trolley seats 15, ten of which are pedal-enabled, while the remaining five are for leisure (lazy friends). Legal gray areas allow you to drink alcohol while pedaling (your driver will explain more), but be sure to spend some time at some of the city's entertaining watering holes in between bursts of pedaling. You can hook up your own music to the trolley's sound system via a provided aux cable, and let me recommend playing Chamillionaire's "Ridin' Dirty" at least twice; hilariously (in)appropriate. PPT also offers informative historical tours of the city, and is also looking into progressive dining tours in the future. Have some helmet-optional fun, and be sure to tip your driver!
