Good: Communication was prompt, Cory (our guide) was both energetic and patient, and the pedal bar itself was in good order. The graffiti was, at times, quite impressive and there is a lot of it—some of it is huge. Also, you are the center of attention, a mobile boom box for pedestrians, and your own traffic jam—literally and musically! Otherwise: the GPS location and the meet-up are only close—by about a block and a half and not within visual eyeshot. This is a notable issue where the actual GPS address is yards from a homeless tent encampment, people sleeping on the sidewalks, the detritus of homelessness, and a very authentic inner city experience. We were advised that a permanent location was forthcoming. This will probably cure the concern. Our trip was also marred by a family of 8 who was extremely late, struggled mightily with the seeming complexity of navigating Miami’s online parking fee (there is no free parking), and relegated our tour from “pedaling” to “all electric speed-run” through the more gentrified areas of Wynwood (we had to rush through in order to get back for the 8:00 pm tour). We completed the tour circuit, but without the opportunity to actually pause and appreciate the graffiti art form. COVID has apparently also killed any number of the bars en route, making the trip largely a BYOB affair. In the end, the art is worth an hour or so to see, Cory is a good guide, the pedal pub concept is sound, we ultimately enjoyed ourselves, but our tour was awfully pricey for all the complications we experienced.
