What To Expect

Pensacola Lighthouse & Maritime Museum

After departing Go Retro's depot, you will be taken aboard Naval Air Station Pensacola. There you will have the opportunity to climb the 177 steps of the Pensacola Lighthouse, which provides a panoramic view of Pensacola and the surround area. Your guide will then take you across the street where you will be able to see the world renown Naval Aviation Museum. Potentially you will even be able to see the Blue Angels!

GoRetro is not responsible for this debacle, but the horrible National Naval Aviation Museum IS! After submitting a security clearance application 3 weeks ago, we arrive in Pensacola eager to go on a tour. But the museum cancelled not just us, but the entire tour! We booked 3 nights to stay here just for this! What a waste of time and money! Don’t give this museum one more dime of taxpayer money I feel sorry for GoRetro, because they were given no reason for cancellation, a fact I confirmed with Visit Pensacola. I am S9 MAD at the museum!! I have been waiting 5 years to see it!

Wonderful way to see the base museum and lighthouse. Tour guides were excellent. They had so much information about the museum and Pensacola.

We did the Blue Angels tour which included the Naval Aviation Museum and Lighthouse. Go Retro was very professional and has wonderful customer service. I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting to see the Blue Angels practice, or go to the Naval Aviation Museum.
