What To Expect

Liberty Bell Center

Depart New York through New Jersey and Pennsylvania for the "City of Brotherly Love"—Philadelphia.

Congress Hall

Arriving in the historical center of Philadelphia, visit the famous Liberty Bell, one of the symbols of freedom in America, as well as Constitution Square and Congress Hall.

Elfreth's Alley

Stroll Elfreth’s Alley, the oldest continuously inhabited street in America.

Rocky Statue

Continue on a panoramic tour of Philadelphia that includes the Financial District, Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Historic Philadelphia, and more. Departing the city, you'll see the famous “Rocky Steps,” before continuing east to Lancaster County, the traditional home of the Amish people.

Amish Country

Start your time in Amish country with a ride on an authentic Amish horse-drawn buggy that you through Amish farm country. Learn how this traditional community lives without the benefit of modern technology: no electricity, running water, telephone services, or appliances. After the ride, visit the marketplace where you can shop for handmade arts crafts and products. In the late afternoon depart east for your evening arrival back in NYC.

I loved this trip, the atmosphere, information, walking up the Rocky steps, and especially, Amish country. This was my favorite. Jonathan was an excellent tour guide. The food was delicious, eating a Philly cheese steak, while in Philly was awesome. I would highly recommend this tour, a definite must see,

We Thoroughly enjoyed this full day tour, our guide, Jonathan was very knowledgeable and made sure we were well informed throughout the day. My husband particularly enjoyed the Rocky experience as he is a big fan. I would highly recommend this enjoyable day.

This was a good tour and very informative. There is a fair amount of walking so check if you are not very mobile. There's nothing to interest smaller children until you get to the Amish part and it's a long day. We saw all the stuff on the itinerary. The coach was comfortable and you are allowed to eat and drink on the USA coaches you are not in the uk so make sure you take food and drink with you as the food stops do not always allow time for everything you want to do. The Amish drive was interesting but we thought the shopping village experience was the better part of the Amish experience.
