What To Expect

Liberty Bell Center

Depart New York through New Jersey and Pennsylvania for the "City of Brotherly Love"—Philadelphia.

Congress Hall

Arriving in the historical center of Philadelphia, visit the famous Liberty Bell, one of the symbols of freedom in America, as well as Constitution Square and Congress Hall.

Elfreth's Alley

Stroll Elfreth’s Alley, the oldest continuously inhabited street in America.

Rocky Statue

Continue on a panoramic tour of Philadelphia that includes the Financial District, Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Historic Philadelphia, and more. Departing the city, you'll see the famous “Rocky Steps,” before continuing east to Lancaster County, the traditional home of the Amish people.

Amish Country

Start your time in Amish country with a ride on an authentic Amish horse-drawn buggy that you through Amish farm country. Learn how this traditional community lives without the benefit of modern technology: no electricity, running water, telephone services, or appliances. After the ride, visit the marketplace where you can shop for handmade arts crafts and products. In the late afternoon depart east for your evening arrival back in NYC.

Every promised worth seeing point of interest was visited.

I travelled on this tour Monday 22nd of September this tour was fair but we did not get a chance for any breakfast /coffee ect until about 11am if this was made clear could have brought it before leaving new York ? also not enough time in Amish country we only arrived at 3pm and after buggy ride we had one hour for looking around shops ect very little time, I think the driver got lost as we seen to cover the same area twice while leaving Philadelphia , also their seemed to be a very interesting area at the buggy ride area but we did not have enough time, perhaps that could be reviewed also by the time we got to restaurant it was so late that their was very little choice? A great, full day out that exceeded expectations. Knowledgeable guide with information given in a relaxed and sometimes humorous way that kept our attention. Very well organised, enjoyed the variety and the buggy ride in the Amish community was great. home made pretzels and root beer or lemonade available to buy ($3) during the ride. Good lunch stop at the Amish village. A longish day but would recommend this trip as a great way to see Philly and the Liberty Bell, Benjamen Franklins house etc. take a day out and do this trip.
