What To Expect

Liberty Bell Center

Depart New York through New Jersey and Pennsylvania for the "City of Brotherly Love"—Philadelphia.

Congress Hall

Arriving in the historical center of Philadelphia, visit the famous Liberty Bell, one of the symbols of freedom in America, as well as Constitution Square and Congress Hall.

Elfreth's Alley

Stroll Elfreth’s Alley, the oldest continuously inhabited street in America.

Rocky Statue

Continue on a panoramic tour of Philadelphia that includes the Financial District, Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Historic Philadelphia, and more. Departing the city, you'll see the famous “Rocky Steps,” before continuing east to Lancaster County, the traditional home of the Amish people.

Amish Country

Start your time in Amish country with a ride on an authentic Amish horse-drawn buggy that you through Amish farm country. Learn how this traditional community lives without the benefit of modern technology: no electricity, running water, telephone services, or appliances. After the ride, visit the marketplace where you can shop for handmade arts crafts and products. In the late afternoon depart east for your evening arrival back in NYC.

We were not impressed with Phillie, started late because some guests were late and then of course there were long lines in Philadelphia and with long lines to have bags checked. Lunch at the Chinese deli was not very good.Amish or lancaster tour would have given this tour a 5 star

Thoroughly enjoyed this day...Stefano was a very attentive tour guide and Marcus (the driver) was brill...Thanks for a great day and to Ben also our Amish buggy driver xxx

Departed on time at 7am from the departure point (toilet facilities there and on the coach if required!) A 2.5 hour drive from NYC to Philly started with the Liberty Bell, then a tour of the former seat of congress including viewing documents of the constitution. Next stop the statue of "Rocky" and a jog up the steps!! Then it was on to Amish country and a trip in a horse drawn buggy round the countryside, stopping to chat with some of the locals, finally ending up at a market center for refreshments and souviners. All in all a great day out, really cool guide and skilled driver. Air Conned full size coach and got back to the original pick-up point (5 minutes from Times Square) about 6:30pm local. If you want a day out from the hustle of NYC and see a bit of the countryside, along with an American history lesson whilst gaining an understanding of the Amish then this is the tour for you.
