The entire operation was first class from the moment we walked through the office door. My wife has a morbid fear of heights. Everything was so well planned and executed that she said she would do it again. That speaks volumes! Winds were light and variable. I guess we didn't travel a great distance but the views were breathtaking. We had the opportunity to see wildlife on the ground and climbed to over 4,000 feet to see the NW part of the valley. We were able to see the general area where we live as well as a birds-eye view of the Apache Wash trail system as we flew over it. Great time and a special shout-out to our pilot, Jeff. 👏👏👏

Where do I even begin with this review. If I could give it more than 5 stars I definitely would. The moment we arrived at Rainbow Ryders everything was seamlessly executed. The check in system they have in place makes you feel confident and comfortable with taking the ride of your life safely. From loading in the van to watching inflation and hopping in the basket, you never feel like you don't know what the next step is your about to take. Our pilot Brooke was very knowledgeable about the history hot air balloons and also about the desert below us. Watching the sunrise from the sky is one of the most amazing feelings, its like waking up with the world. When you are up there with just the sound of the burner and then silence its like you can almost hear your heartbeat, makes you feel alive! When we came to land Brooke gave great instructions on how to safely prepare, and it was flawless! You can tell he has a lot of experience. Once we landed, we were greeted with champagne and OJ and a toast! We journeyed back to Rainbow Ryders and in the office they had tons of good stuff you could purchase to remember the best sunrise you've ever seen.
