Waimea Arboretum and Botanical Garden

Capture breathtaking images of the fauna of this valley. We will take our time walking out, allowing you to enjoy this beautiful area. Timed just right, we will be the first people at the waterfall.

Banzai Pipeline

Watch the surfers of the most famous wave in the world. Ask you guide for the rest setting on your camera to really capture the moment.

Pu’u O Mahuka Heiau State Monument

An amazing lookout for the North Shore of Oahu. Also a historical location to a religious site used by the ancient Hawaiians.

Mac is absolutely the best. As repeat customers we have had every OPT tour guide except the most recent hires in the last 5 months. This is our 5th time doing this tour, and it never gets old. Mac knows his plants and is the gecko/bird whisperer. He took extra effort to make sure we find some turtles. Took us to two spots to see if he could find the turtles lying on the beach. Sadly the waves were too strong but the effort was appreciated. And we did see about 9 turtles in the waters at Haleiwa which was spectacular. The falls at Waimea were closed/no swimming and to compensate he stopped at a fruit stand for us to try ice cream bananas, and did an extra 10 min pit stop at Dole Plantation. What an awesome person to make changes on the fly, to make sure we were satisfied on tour. Mac is so personal - we hope to see him on our next OPT /visit to the islands in January. And as a bonus he air dropped more than 100 photos he took on tour with us.

This tour was amazing our tour guide K made it very comfortable and enjoyable for the whole group. The views that we were taking to was breath taking. K also gave us history and background on the island and the views they were presented to us. We want to try the sunset tour for the next go around!!
