Photo Safari in Ketchikan, Alaska. Spend 3 hrs "off the tourist beaten path".

Overview
We help you take iconic photographs of several locations in the Ketchikan area, including historical, cultural and nature attractions. We offer advanced and basic photographic instruction for cell phone, poin'n'shoot & DSLR camera users. We conduct our tours over a set route of 7 or 8 different locations with each location offering unique photo opportunities AND teaching opportunities. Although a majority of my photography instruction is equally applicable to BOTH cell phones, point’n'shoots and DSLR cameras, some of my instruction is specific to DSLR users.

Photo techniques taught for BOTH DSLR & cell phone & point’n’shoots include: composition, subject identity, subject proximity, subject balance, exposure, cropping, angle of approach, light compensation, macro photography...

We look forward to serving you soon.

Felix is extremely knowledgable about Ketchikan and photography. He communicated this knowledge in an easy and entertaining way. He is a pleasant and warm person who excelled in making all of us on our tour happy, especially since or group had people with widely different photographic knowledge and equipment. He was equally knowledgeable about new fancy new digital cameras as well as our phone cameras. He was able to speak about editing tools and make suggestions about them with the more knowledgeable members of our tour. Felix was intune with the needs of all of the tour participants, meeting each of our needs at our own individual levels. He taught us how to use the tools of our cell phone cameras, and taught us about perspective, lighting, framing pictures, and not to fear trying something different. He took us to some amazing places that provided us with ample opportunities to take many beautiful pictures.

A great way to visit Ketchikan... We visited great locations and Felix helped us with composition, perspective, etc and freely shared his knowledge It was a rainy day and my camera got wet while I had a rain cover and stopped working. Felix checked my camera and confirmed that it only needed to dry out... What a relief.... We also got coffee and coffee, nice touch.... I would recommend that tour, good for beginners to experts...

Small van with Mike as our guide. There were some with fancy SLR cameras and different lenses and some with their phone cameras. Mike took us to several key places to take pictures and learn about the area. Mike is very knowledgeable about the area and about photography. I love to take pictures and challenge my eye and my brain while learning about the area. Perfect way to spend your time in Ketchikan
