The Tour
-The experience of being on a 14,000 ft mountain is like no other. We make
several stops both up and down the mountain to really soak in the views that
makes this experience so unique. The scenery above treeline is stunning.
Once we reach the summit, we walk with you illustrating points of interest.
Then we leave you to explore the summit on your own. Our guides take
excellent pictures of you and your family.

What To Expect

Pikes Peak - America's Mountain

This is an amazing experience, with views that defy language. Pikes Peak Highway is 19 miles of paved road to the summit. There are many attractions we stop at and take pictures, and let the views soak in. Once we get above the treeline, it's like a different world. Incredible rock structures and views of distant mountain ranges. Once we reach the summit, we will give you a little tour of the area, tell you some of the things you seeing, and allow some time in the Summit House. On a clear day, you can see 5 states from here. After that, we will leave you to explore on your own for a bit. Food and souvenirs are available at the Summit Complex. We also provide snacks and water for the trip if needed. This is an experience you won't forget.

Great experience with Mountain Jeep tours! There was room for 3 passengers so it was like a private tour. Wow what a treat. James was punctual, an experienced driver, knowledgeable, patient with our requests for pictures and offered to take pics of us. He stopped at scenic overlooks and gave us lots of interesting facts and even local folklore. He gave us the option to have the roof on or off. We opted for roof on since it was chilly. Felt bad for the folks in the back of the competitor’s vehicles. Their clear plastic roof didn’t look like it could come down to enclose them and as the wind whipped them, they looked frozen. We were warm and comfy. At the end he took us to a special place where there were no tourists, just some men fishing and what a peaceful, tranquil, place it was with post card views. Just splendid. I would encourage you to skip the cog rail with all those people. Personalized service with Mountain Jeep Tours! Highly recommend!

What a fun experience! I was part of a 2 Jeep tour. Suzanne was our guide. She was so informative and passionate about the tour as well as the surrounding towns and attractions. I could not recommend this experience enough. Thank you, Suzanne and James for a great trip!
