Our pirate, the Captain, was extremely informative, fun, and personable. The weather was not great for a walking tour, and he could have chosen to cancel - especially since my husband and I were the only two participants at that time. Happily, the Captian - dressed in full and impressive pirate attire - decided we should proceed with the tour. We had a great time and learned a lot about the Battle of New Orleans and the important aid that was provided by pirates in order for America to fend off the British and win the battle. Highly recommend!
