Overview

Learning to surf with Sandbar Surf School is a lifetime bucket list thing that you will never forget. We are the premier surf school in California's Central Coast and we have been teaching surf lessons here in Pismo Beach since 1996. We have tons of local surf knowledge as well as many of our instructors are world travelers/surfers. We truly love what we do and you will have the best time in the world going with us. Laugh with us, surf with us and maybe even come to one of our bonfires! We would not only love to meet you from wherever in the world you are from, but we promise that your surf experience with us will be the part of the trip that you can't stop talking about in the days to come.

Definitely recommend surfing lessons with Sandbar Surf School! My 10 year old had a fantastic time and I felt confident he was safe with experienced instructors. Teresa was especially awesome and made sure he was successful!

The crew at Sandbar was amazing! Jonny and Teresa did an incredible job of teaching and encouraging a bunch of us 1st time surfers that obviously had no idea what we were doing. Additionally, they had a great awareness of the conditions in the water and ensured that everyone was safe. If my wife and I are ever back in Pismo we will definitely be looking Sand Bar up again. If you are looking for surfing lessons in the Pismo Beach area, look no further, they were phenomenal!
