Overview

Learning to surf with Sandbar Surf School is a lifetime bucket list thing that you will never forget. We are the premier surf school in California's Central Coast and we have been teaching surf lessons here in Pismo Beach since 1996. We have tons of local surf knowledge as well as many of our instructors are world travelers/surfers. We truly love what we do and you will have the best time in the world going with us. Laugh with us, surf with us and maybe even come to one of our bonfires! We would not only love to meet you from wherever in the world you are from, but we promise that your surf experience with us will be the part of the trip that you can't stop talking about in the days to come.

was able to accommodate our large family, great with kids and adults alike. one of the funnest things we've done on vacation. A must do while in Pismo Beach. All the instructors were great and were just super with the kids. We'll be back next time for sure. skip the overpriced surf shops. Sandbar surf is the way to go!!!!

It was great but they have to notify us to meet at least 30 minutes before at the meeting point to prepare and put on a wetsuit, which takes time.
