Today we spent the morning cruising downtown Pittsburgh on segways. We went with a group of 8 plus our guide Allan. We are all native Pittsburghers and we were so surprised how much we learned about the city. It was an absolutely beautiful day and Pittsburgh just sparkled! Two members of the group had ridden segways before, but the rest of us were first-timers. I personally was a little bit nervous as I can be quite clumsy. Honestly within 2-3 minutes I felt like a pro and after about 5 minutes it was as natural as standing. The 2 participants who had segwayed before (Disney World and Washington, DC) felt the tour was outstanding by comparison and amazingly reasonably priced. Definitely come to Pittsburgh, and give it a try!

My teenage daughter and I loved this tour!! It was such a great way to tour a city. Riding/driving a Segway is really easy (and I am not a very graceful/coordinated person!). It is very easy to manuver. You can cover alot of territory in two hours so we got to see most of the city. Our tour guides were excellent. Sarah kept us safe and moving along while Dan (through our radios) gave us history and a bit of fun too. Both my daughter and I highly recommend this tour!

This is the 4th segway tour we have taken across the country. I would rate this 3rd of the 4 tours. The reason for the rating is the history provided was very limited. Our other tours provided us with history on the city along with other interesting facts. This was not a bad tour it just did not rate up there with the other segway tours we have taken. The guides were very friendly, experienced, and the microphone earpiece was a great idea. I would recommend this tour to others to take.
