What To Expect

Plantation Adventure Center

The scenic cruise is our one-hour dry tour of beautiful Kings Bay. You will cruise through the beautiful bay looking for wildlife while the captain points out the highlights of the area. During the cruise there is always the chance of seeing manatees, but it can never be guaranteed. These are wild animals in their natural habitat that come and go as they desire. Our tour boats are fully covered to protect you from the sun and rain. Besides manatees there is always a chance of seeing dolphins, otters, turtles, a variety of birds and fish. Every tour is unique!

The captain and the other guy were very knowledgeable, professional, nice, weather was perfect, we saw at least 7 manatees, very nice view, very clean boat, really good experience and good price. We all enjoyed it!!!

What a fun way to spend an hour. We had heard great things about Crystal River, so we decided to drive up and check it out. We found Plantation Adventure Center through TripAdvisor and booked the one hour King's Bay scenic cruise. John and Hudson were a lot of fun and very knowledgable of the area. They loaded us up on manatee facts and managed to find a couple for us to see. We were early for manatee season, as the gulf waters are still pretty warm. If you'd like to spend an hour in an easy float that requires nothing more than relaxation, give this place a try. We enjoyed it thoroughly.
