What To Expect

Plantation Adventure Center

The scenic cruise is our one-hour dry tour of beautiful Kings Bay. You will cruise through the beautiful bay looking for wildlife while the captain points out the highlights of the area. During the cruise there is always the chance of seeing manatees, but it can never be guaranteed. These are wild animals in their natural habitat that come and go as they desire. Our tour boats are fully covered to protect you from the sun and rain. Besides manatees there is always a chance of seeing dolphins, otters, turtles, a variety of birds and fish. Every tour is unique!

We were a group of 11 RV'ers taking the Cruise as one of our activities during our stay in Crystal River. Captains Paul and Dustin were awesome. Very informative about the Bay and surrounding area. Knew the prices of the homes for sale we went by and even a little history on most of them. Very friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend this Cruise.

Stopped in Crystal River for the night on a last minute trip to Boca Grande so booked the sunset cruise for the four of us on a whim. Only one other couple on the trip but Captain Mike took great care of us. Didn't mind the light load. We'd all been to Crystal River swimming with the manatees but the trip was still great. He was full of local knowledge and maneuvered the boat like a pro to ensure we saw the few manatees hanging around. It was a Chamber of Commerce evening we thoroughly enjoyed!

We had a very relaxed and amazing time. Our Captain was the best!! He knew a lot about the area and the manatees, he was very friendly and we had the best time and we got to see some manatees.
