What To Expect

Plantation Adventure Center

The scenic cruise is our one-hour dry tour of beautiful Kings Bay. You will cruise through the beautiful bay looking for wildlife while the captain points out the highlights of the area. During the cruise there is always the chance of seeing manatees, but it can never be guaranteed. These are wild animals in their natural habitat that come and go as they desire. Our tour boats are fully covered to protect you from the sun and rain. Besides manatees there is always a chance of seeing dolphins, otters, turtles, a variety of birds and fish. Every tour is unique!

OK, didn't see much until the end of the ride. But we still had a good time. Seem that there isn't always manatees in this area. depends on the weather.

Booked this at the last minute for my father and uncle plus my college aged daughter while on a free day during a college spring break softball tournament. We all enjoyed it. The boat captain and the tour guide were great and gave us a nice overview of local wildlife (saw manatees, osprey, cormorants, pelicans) as well stories and background about the surrounding area. Enjoyable for all ages.

Guides were knowledgeable and humorous. Cruise was smooth and the boat was clean and comfortable. We saw manatees and various species of birds.
