What To Expect

Plantation Adventure Center

The scenic cruise is our one-hour dry tour of beautiful Kings Bay. You will cruise through the beautiful bay looking for wildlife while the captain points out the highlights of the area. During the cruise there is always the chance of seeing manatees, but it can never be guaranteed. These are wild animals in their natural habitat that come and go as they desire. Our tour boats are fully covered to protect you from the sun and rain. Besides manatees there is always a chance of seeing dolphins, otters, turtles, a variety of birds and fish. Every tour is unique!

stopped here on first leg (cape coral to cedar key) of trip from FL to PA. captains Mark and Ed were great; informative and entertaining. got to see an osprey couple in an aerial fight with a larger, nest raiding eagle; repeated coordinated attacks drove the eagle into the water and kept it there for a bit with dive bombing runs. passengers cheered when eagle finally got out of water and flew away. dock hands were nice to talk with while waiting for trip to start.

I cannot say enough about how wonderful our tour of crystal river was. Dustin and Mike made it so much fun. They were very knowlegable about the manatees and the springs. We were able to also see some manatees and they made sure we were able to get up close to them. It was the highlight of my Florida trip wish I had gone sooner, but we will be back.
