What To Expect

Plantation Adventure Center

The scenic cruise is our one-hour dry tour of beautiful Kings Bay. You will cruise through the beautiful bay looking for wildlife while the captain points out the highlights of the area. During the cruise there is always the chance of seeing manatees, but it can never be guaranteed. These are wild animals in their natural habitat that come and go as they desire. Our tour boats are fully covered to protect you from the sun and rain. Besides manatees there is always a chance of seeing dolphins, otters, turtles, a variety of birds and fish. Every tour is unique!

After calling around and not finding any openings we landed on Plantation Adventures. We're not great snorkelers, so a boat tour it is. Not only was the price right but the pontoon was great. Capt Mark was wonderful and very informative, a great bird nerd and YES we saw some Manatees !! The water was not as warm as it had been so the number of "T's" were not there this week.... according to the Capt they go to the Gulf to feed. He was so good at spotting them. Capt Ed was a great driver and slowed down just at the right time for everyone to see. We also got lucky and saw 2 Osprey fighting with an Eagle !! The hour went so fast

We thoroughly enjoyed the one hour informative boat tour. Mark and John are very knowledgeable and amusing. The area is quite Scenic and the one hour is the perfect amount of time. Definitely recommend everyone to take this trip in.

It was a slow boat ride with a man telling you all about Manatees and birds. Saw some birds but saw zero Manatees. Like cruising a neighborhood with canals as streets. Guess it was too warm for Manatees but we were not told that before the tour.
