What To Expect

Plantation Adventure Center

The scenic cruise is our one-hour dry tour of beautiful Kings Bay. You will cruise through the beautiful bay looking for wildlife while the captain points out the highlights of the area. During the cruise there is always the chance of seeing manatees, but it can never be guaranteed. These are wild animals in their natural habitat that come and go as they desire. Our tour boats are fully covered to protect you from the sun and rain. Besides manatees there is always a chance of seeing dolphins, otters, turtles, a variety of birds and fish. Every tour is unique!

Lot of fun, really enjoyed the local scenery. Guides Dustin & Steve timed the setting of the sun perfectly so that the view was spectacular.

This was a short yet pleasant experience. You should not miss this cruise. Our captains Mike and Ross gave plenty of knowledge about the wildlife and area homes and activities. If you stay at the Plantation at Crystal River Hotel as I did, then you will see that boarding for this cruise is on site. We were able to briefly see a manatee which was important to me since I don't know how to swim, therefore snorkeling with them was not an option. I went during the early afternoon but I heard that the sunset cruises are even better. Don't skip this cruise!
