What To Expect

Plantation Adventure Center

The scenic cruise is our one-hour dry tour of beautiful Kings Bay. You will cruise through the beautiful bay looking for wildlife while the captain points out the highlights of the area. During the cruise there is always the chance of seeing manatees, but it can never be guaranteed. These are wild animals in their natural habitat that come and go as they desire. Our tour boats are fully covered to protect you from the sun and rain. Besides manatees there is always a chance of seeing dolphins, otters, turtles, a variety of birds and fish. Every tour is unique!

Expected more of a wildlife environment, seeing homes on the shore of the Crystal River in a wildlife preserve was a surprise, I wished I could have learned more about the history of the area.

It was very sunny day and a nice cruise with a knowledgeable captains who gave us a lot of anecdotes of the area.

Captain Lance and Captain Ron took us out for the most beautiful sunset boat ride! They narrated the scenic, ancient Indian burial grounds made of oyster shells and showed us Oyster Island! We were fortunate enough to see Dolphin swimming near our boat and we stopped to take pictures. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful evening and magnificent sunset! Thank you, Captain Lance and Captain Ross!
