What To Expect

Plantation Adventure Center

The scenic cruise is our one-hour dry tour of beautiful Kings Bay. You will cruise through the beautiful bay looking for wildlife while the captain points out the highlights of the area. During the cruise there is always the chance of seeing manatees, but it can never be guaranteed. These are wild animals in their natural habitat that come and go as they desire. Our tour boats are fully covered to protect you from the sun and rain. Besides manatees there is always a chance of seeing dolphins, otters, turtles, a variety of birds and fish. Every tour is unique!

The King's Bay cruise was great! The cruise left on time and just the right amount of time at a reasonable price. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the area's history, many of the birds and animals plus the differences of the King's Bay versus the Crystal River. We were able to see some manatee even though it was not the prime season. The captain went out his way to make sure all tourists could view the manatees while keeping the boat still in the water. Both the guide and the captain had great senses of humor and always allowed for all types of questions. I would recommend this tour.

It was so fun and we learned a lot. We loved seeing so many manatees. The boat driver and announcer were informative and fun.
