What To Expect

Plantation Adventure Center

The scenic cruise is our one-hour dry tour of beautiful Kings Bay. You will cruise through the beautiful bay looking for wildlife while the captain points out the highlights of the area. During the cruise there is always the chance of seeing manatees, but it can never be guaranteed. These are wild animals in their natural habitat that come and go as they desire. Our tour boats are fully covered to protect you from the sun and rain. Besides manatees there is always a chance of seeing dolphins, otters, turtles, a variety of birds and fish. Every tour is unique!

First, the crystal river is not crystal at all! Second, the claimed “many manatees could be seen” is a joke although we went in the so-called “high season for manatees viewing”. All in all, it is not worth the time driving there just for the boat ride.

We advertise this as a Scenic River Cruise. We see a lot of wildlife including Manatee. The weather determine how many manatees we will see as well as where we see them. On warmer days the Manatee are often grazing on food and can strir up the water. We are dissappointed we did not meet your expectations. If Manatees are your #1 goal a Snorkel tour is the best option. If you do not want to get wait this is by far the best alternative. Thank you

Christian and the crew did a wonderful job of showing us around King’s Bay. My daughter had never seen the whole are, so I was happy she enjoyed learning about all the things that make this area so unique. The information and stories were interesting and well told.

Scenic cruise around the Crystal Bay. Very scenic view of the Bay. The captain gave us a history lesson of the area. Very well done.
