What To Expect

Plantation Adventure Center

The scenic cruise is our one-hour dry tour of beautiful Kings Bay. You will cruise through the beautiful bay looking for wildlife while the captain points out the highlights of the area. During the cruise there is always the chance of seeing manatees, but it can never be guaranteed. These are wild animals in their natural habitat that come and go as they desire. Our tour boats are fully covered to protect you from the sun and rain. Besides manatees there is always a chance of seeing dolphins, otters, turtles, a variety of birds and fish. Every tour is unique!

Plantation Adventure Center's Kings Bay Scenic Cruise from Crystal River was an incredible experience for our entire family. From seeing lots of manatees to learning interesting facts about the area, this cruise did not disappoint. It also was the perfect start to a few, fun-filled days in Kings Bay at Crystal River. Thank you Plantation Adventure Center for an incredible start to our vacation.

When I booked our tickets there was a space for if you need any special help. I wrote I needed walker accessible. When we were waiting I noticed it was not, so I asked again inside , they said oh yes we know what you need and we’re prepared. They were not!Getting on the boat was terrible for my mother, and Worse for the next woman Who they Dropped twice!! Finally John went to the front of the boat and pulled out a stool saying oh this might help. The people were cold and uncaring, Do Not subject your loved ones to this!!!!!

The Captains/tour guides knew right where to take us to see the Manatees and were well versed in local history of Crystal River. They made the trip fun!
