What To Expect

Plantation Adventure Center

The scenic cruise is our one-hour dry tour of beautiful Kings Bay. You will cruise through the beautiful bay looking for wildlife while the captain points out the highlights of the area. During the cruise there is always the chance of seeing manatees, but it can never be guaranteed. These are wild animals in their natural habitat that come and go as they desire. Our tour boats are fully covered to protect you from the sun and rain. Besides manatees there is always a chance of seeing dolphins, otters, turtles, a variety of birds and fish. Every tour is unique!

My wife and I took the 2:30 PM eco tour. It lasted about 1.5 hours and was very informative. Lupe and his Little Lupe (Jessica) were very knowledgeable about the river and local information. They gave a wonderful tour full of information and pointing out areas of interest. They showed where manatees gather and we saw several from a distance. As it happened the best view of a mother and calf was when we were about to dock at the end of the tour. If you want a great above water tour this would be a good one for you. They also offer snorkel and dive tours but we were not interested in getting into the water.
