Balboa Park

The Balboa Park segway tour starts out by sightseeing beautiful downtown San Diego. You will Segway past San Diego’s gleaming skyscrapers, lovely parks, and past its many historic landmarks. After gliding through downtown, your Segway adventure arrives at Balboa Park where you will see Founder’s Plaza, cross the Cabrillo Bridge, and see the Spreckles Organ Pavilion. Glide with your tour guide through one of America’s most beautiful open parks and take in the San Diego Museum of Natural History, Spanish Village Arts Center, the Inez Parker Memorial Rose Garden.

Hugh was a good tour guide but this tour wasn’t our favorite one we’ve taken. This was our 6th various Segway tour. Balboa park was ok but would’ve liked more about downtown San Diego.

It was our first tour with a Segway and we must say it is absolutely easy to handle. Our excellent tour guide Seth explained the function very well and showed is downtown and Balboa park on this beautiful 2 hours trip. It was was really amazing

I don't want to be harsh however having done other Segway Tours, this one didn't compare. So our guide was friendly and professional and the Segways were in good condition. Most of the tour is travelling to Balboa park which is quite a distance, however there is no information nor really anything to see along the way. The park was lovely, but again we were there for a very short period and didn't see much of it before going back to base. Segways will always be fun, but I think we choose the wrong tour sadly.
