Aj was a great tour guide! Punctual and reliable! He was able to customize the tour to our interests at any time during the tour. Helped us to make the best use of our short time in Maine. Knowledgeable and engaging, he made for an enjoyable and interesting day! We were able to cover so much in such a short time! Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed this trip we started off going to the Portland head lighthouse and also saw the Fort Williams. We then headed up to Freeport and spent some nice time at the L.L. Bean company store there and we also got some information from our dad about the impact available being in the area. We also went to the Andros Scoggins bridge, which was built in 1892 and it was tied directly to the local textile industry. We went to the town of Bath to see the Tori gate, which was symbolic of a sister city relationship with a small town in Japan. We also drove by the sprawling Bath Iron Works plant that builds ships for the US government. In Boothbay, we had a wonderful lunch at the tugboat Inn then we we went on a walk around Boothbay tourist area to go in some of the shops and buy a few souvenirs and cards quaint beautiful little town. from there, we went to the botanical gardens and we spent over an hour walking around there. We saw two of the large wooden troll structures, which were so cute and unique. We did not find all of them as the whole complex covers 300 acres, but we did spend a couple of hours there, our last stop was fort Edgecombe, which was built in 1809. It is the oldest octagon structure still standing in the United States. It was a block house fort to protect that area of Maine during the war of 1812. Three adults in our family were in the group. This is a private tour and Dennis our guide was very accommodating, providing water soft drinks and snacks.

ā€œThank you for your feedback. I’m glad we could address the situation and provide good customer service. As mentioned, we aim to ensure every guest has a great experience and visit the sites they want to explore. In this case, it was my understanding that there was a decision made not to visit certain locations during the tour. However, I offered to refund the cost of the gardens as a gesture to make up for any disappointment. We appreciate your understanding and hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a more fulfilling experience in the future.ā€
