We will tour the grounds, hear the history, and take in the spectacular view.

Washington Park

Get a taste of Washington Park on the way to the Rose Garden. It includes a zoo, forestry museum, arboretum, Japanese garden, amphitheatre, memorials, archery range, tennis courts, soccer field, picnic areas, playgrounds, public art and many acres of wild forest with miles of trails.

International Rose Test Garden

Let's stop and smell the roses - more than 10,000 when they're in bloom! Even out of season, this is a beautiful stop with a wondrous view!

Old Town

Pass through Old Town on your tour of downtown Portland, and hear the history of the city's rough and tumble beginnings.

Pearl District

We will pass through and learn about Portland's famous shopping district, as well as Old Chinatown, the cultural district, and the government district.

Powell's City of Books

See the largest bookstore in the world, with approximately one million books.

Tom McCall Waterfront Park

We will drive along this historic park and hear the fascinating history of its origin.

Hawthorne Bridge

(Possibly on itinerary, depending on guide and weather) One of twelve Portland bridges that crosses the Willamette River, the Hawthorne Bridge is a truss bridge with a vertical lift. It is the oldest vertical-lift bridge in operation in the United States.

Mount Tabor Park

(Possibly on itinerary, depending on guide and weather) This is another location with interesting history and an amazing view of the city.

McMenamins Kennedy School

(Possibly on itinerary, depending on guide and weather) This offbeat hotel in a restored 1915 elementary school. Quirky, artisan decorated.

Cathedral Park

(Possibly on itinerary, depending on guide and weather) Named because of the epic bridge towering above, Cathedral Park is steeped in history. It is believed to be one of the 14 Lewis and Clark landing sites in the Vancouver-Portland area. This spot had been a fishing and camping site for many area Indian tribes. In 1931, the St Johns Bridge was built on the site with 400-ft towers and a main span of 1,207 feet. It is the only steel suspension bridge in Portland.

Daman was amazing! He provided such great narration of the city. So personable and caring. I have lived here for just a few years and took it 5 years ago. I will bring my visitors on this to get such a great overview of Portland as I did with my sister this time! The tour even included a stop for chocolates! Great stops and time to provide photo ops. Great value as the many stops would be hard to do own your own. Highly recommended 😊

Damon offered us an incredible tour of Portland in the perfect amount of time. We were looking for something short and concise, which would give us a good overview of the city. This tour was the perfect choice. Nice pace, relaxing and friendly. Damon was so knowledgeable and we really enjoyed the “off script” commentary which added nice color to the facts. Much more interesting. We liked it so much, we’ve booked a waterfalls tour for the next day (will offer separate review)!

Our tour guide was amazing with giving the tour! He knew every tiny bits of whatever we were curious about! I went with my cousin and she wanted to know more currents while I wanted to know more of the history of Portland. Anything we ask, he was so knowledgable he would answer all our questions!!! He also prepared water and candies just in case we would need some. Also, he drove really gentle and safely as well and explained about the sights at the same time which I thought he was also an expert with the tour. I would highly recommend who are interested in getting to know of the city, he is the person to find🩷
