Our family is a mix of cycling abilities and we were initially apprehensive about booking this excursion through our cruise line as we weren’t sure how “hardcore” the cycling would be. Our worries were alleviated immediately as our instructor Rick went over the route with us, offering options depending on skill and what we most wanted to see. He was focused on safety and checked in frequently. He took us on a beautiful loop through Portland and a 1 mile hike on Mackworth Island. He was full of fun facts and knowledgeable about the area, giving us great tips on what else to do with our limited time in port at the conclusion of the tour. Our family would definitely recommend this tour as a fun and efficient way to see Portland, particularly for cruisers with limited time.

What a fun thing to do in Portland Maine! Our guide, Lauren, was so friendly and made the day so much fun. We rented the electric bikes, which made riding through the city a lot easier and much more enjoyable! The locations we saw throughout the day were beautiful, and Lauren was very knowledgeable.
