This tour is for the Lighthouse Lovers!!! Unfortunately in Maine, we cannot go into the lighthouses, except 1 day in the year. This tour is visiting the lighthouse grounds with epic photo stops!!

Whether this is your first visit or you've lived in Portland for years, you’ll explore the Greater Portland area from a new perspective.

Travel through downtown Portland with a local lobsterman and hear about the working waterfront, commercial fishing industry and more!

Next, visit 3 lighthouses and spend about 40 minutes walking around and taking pictures at historic Portland Head Light. 2 more photo stops are included on the tour at Spring Point Head Light and Bug Light.

Transportation provided in a temperature controlled 12 passenger Ford Transit. Your guide provides tips for dining and activities during your stay in Portland, Maine.

What To Expect

Commercial Street

Whether this is your first visit or you've lived in Portland, you’ll explore the Greater Portland area from a new perspective. Come explore Commercial street, located on one of North America's last working waterfronts. Here you will see the cobblestone streets, 19th century fishing wharf's housing commercial lobstermen and other fisheries. Commercial street is located in the Old Port district and offers numerous boutiques, restaurants and bars for locals and visitors to enjoy. This tour is fully on land. We will be driving in a 12 passenger Ford Transit.

Portland Head Light

Walk around the park, take photos, visit the gift shop or purchase a lobster roll.

Spring Point Ledge Lighthouse

If time allows, we may stop briefly for a photo opportunity.

Bug Light Park

If time allows, we may stop briefly for a photo opportunity.

Our tour guide, Eric, was super knowledgeable having lived in the community and worked the fishing industry all his life. He even sent out reminder texts w/ clear instructions where to meet. I really appreciated the van having a mounted ceiling monitor which showed pics of each site as we drove by esp since it was a foggy day. It also gave everyone in the van a clear view of each site regardless of where we sat. Eric also provided water and made sure the van was spotless inside and out. His lunch recommendations were also spot-on. Viator website made booking the tour easy and quick. Highly recommend!

Eric a guide was very engaging with everyone on our tour. He tells alot of dad jokes. It was really fun and extra special because we were able to see the sunset. I feel it would have been helpful if we went near the beginning of our visit just to have time to see somethings that were pointed out during the tour, however I like our Sunday afternoon there was minimal traffic. I am not one to review or believe reviews but this was The Truth
