Join us for Whale Watching in our cool Alaskan waters and then view one of 38 glaciers from the Juneau Ice Fields - the spectacular Mendenhall Glacier. We guide you on a 2 hour whale watching tour, spotting Humpback whales and other wildlife. Then off to the Mendenhall Glacier to spend some time hiking, watching fish spawn at Steep Creek or enjoy an outstanding view from the Visitor Center. If you are in Juneau all day - you can take advantage of our flexible Glacier Shuttle to get back to town. If you arrive in the afternoon expect to get 90 minutes at the park. But don't worry! That is the perfect amount of time to walk to nugget falls and take in the displays at the visitor center.

The meeting place is under the cables in front of the Mt. Roberts Tramway.
All ports or docks are within 10 minutes walking distances, except one - the A Dock - which provides a “Downtown” shuttle to the Mt. Roberts Tramway.
Children must be accompanied by an adult
At time of booking, cruise ship passengers must provide the name of their ship
A moderate amount of walking is involved.
No food is allowed at the Mendenhall Glacier.
Tour operates in all weather conditions, so please dress appropriately in layers and for the likely chance of rain. It is recommended that you wear warm layered clothing, a waterproof jacket and comfortable slip-proof shoes
Always check with us regarding the shuttle schedule if you want to spend more than 1.5 hours at the Glacier park

Goldbelt Mount Roberts Tramway

This is our meeting point. We chose it because it is easy to spot from everywhere. We meet under the cables of the aerial gondola.

Inside Passage

We will drive you via bus out to Auke Bay Harbor, where you board our custom whale watching boats

Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center

We drive you via bus to this beautiful park. Time spent here depends on the time of day you arrive. Refer to your tour guide for the most accurate information.

We had a wonderful day. The crew (Marina, Josh, and Dave) were top notch: highly knowledgeable, fun, and professional. We got to see multiple humpbacks and orcas from the boat deck and inside the warm and comfortable boat. I would highly recommend this tour.

Captain Rusty and Danielle (guide) were informative and did a very good job finding the whales. The bus drivers did a great job pointing out local points of interest as well as wildlife and photo spots. Boat trip wasn't rushed, spend a lot of time on the water. They advertise snacks, but that is a stretch and is only an issue since you go straight from the boat to the glacier and you don't want to rush that experience. So pack your own snacks as you will be touring for several hours.

Guide to whale watching was very cooperative he tried his level best to show quite a few whales but visiting Mandenhall glacier National park was really memorable experience.We did a small trail till nuggets fall also.Seeing Mandenhall glacier was really majestic.
