Then off to the Mendenhall Glacier to spend some time hiking, watching fish spawn at Steep Creek or enjoy an outstanding view from the Visitor Center. You get 1.5 hours at the park, but don't worry! My husband and I were on a cruise and the tour through the ship was already full. I'm glad it was. We saw more than 10 different whales on our tour. Our tour was led by Captain Jason, Chris and Jayden. To say they are passionate about what they do is an understatement. The entire tour was filled with factual information, as well as relative experiences by the crew. The entire day exceeded all expectations. We highly recommend booking through this company. I got amazing pictures that I will cherish and will probably spam everyone I know with them. I don't think our experience could have been any better. Thank you Juneau Whale Watch. I've waited a lifetime for this experience and you made it the best ever.

Jessie, our captain, found us a great spot where the sea lions and orca whales were having a confrontation! Amazing experience! Also saw two sets of mama and baby humpback whales. Ben and Ben were very knowledgeable naturalists, who presented lots of interesting facts and answered our questions. Also, the weather cooperates and it turned sunny and the catamaran ride was beautiful!

Everyone on the tour, the bus drivers, the boat captain, and the naturalists, were amazing! Because we were all early on our way to the boat the bus driver stopped at a great photo spot to let everyone get pictures of the glacier with the fireweed in bloom. They took us to an area with a ton of whales and were all just as excited about the whales as the tour group. 12/10 would recommend.
