Premier Whale Watch and Mendenhall Glacier Combo

Overview
Join us for Whale Watching in our cool Alaskan waters and then view one of 38 glaciers from the Juneau Ice Fields - the spectacular Mendenhall Glacier. We guide you on a 2 hour whale watching tour, spotting Humpback whales and other wildlife. Then off to the Mendenhall Glacier to spend some time hiking, watching fish spawn at Steep Creek or enjoy an outstanding view from the Visitor Center. If you are in Juneau all day - you can take advantage of our flexible Glacier Shuttle to get back to town. If you arrive in the afternoon expect to get 90 minutes at the park. But don't worry! That is the perfect amount of time to walk to nugget falls and take in the displays at the visitor center.

I do not like to give bad reviews and this is the first one. I feel I should write this for other people to be aware of. I booked this combo tour at 10.30am. We went to Juneau on the 2nd week of May and traveled from Ohio. On the tour day, I woke up almost 9 and had 3 missed calls and a text at 8.30am saying the bus is leaving soon, are you on your way. I called back and found out the tour I booked was moved to 8.30! They said they tried to reach me a the past few weeks. I DID NOT get any call or voice mail from Juneau Tour. I did check my email and junk mail daily and did not see anything. I checked my junk mail again and found one email sent me 2 days prior to the tour day. The email didnā€™t really say tour changed to 8.30, just said update confirmation and I had to scroll all the way down to see the time said 8.30. If you didnā€™t pay attention, you could have missed it easily. I really disappointed the way they handle the tour changed. At least, I thought they should have called me and left a voice mail. I could have made it! It was very quiet at Juneau on that day and I though the tour didnā€™t have many people booked. So they squeezed all tours into one on that day. For travelers who come from far away and this might be the only chance they could experience whales and glaciers. Itā€™s just unexceptionable to me. I included the email they said they sent out to notify the time change. I just canā€™t recommend this tour to any one based on my experience with the tour.

Brilliant boat trip with Captain Marina and Boyd and Jarrett ... they knew just where to go to see the Whales and Sea Lions and made the trip great fun. Thank you all for a fabulous day āœ‹šŸŒŸ

We had a magical day whale watching in Juno, Alaska. Viator was well organised from pickup to drop-off. Our bus guides were both lovely, giving us lots of local knowledge on the journey there and back. Then we got to the whale watch. Captain Ben and his little helper Russell were both fab! We saw whales, had a talk about local conservation and a grat laugh to boot. All in all it was a fabulous day out and would highly recommend it
