Join us for Whale Watching in our cool Alaskan waters and then view one of 38 glaciers from the Juneau Ice Fields - the spectacular Mendenhall Glacier. We guide you on a 2 hour whale watching tour, spotting Humpback whales and other wildlife. Then off to the Mendenhall Glacier to spend some time hiking, watching fish spawn at Steep Creek or enjoy an outstanding view from the Visitor Center. If you are in Juneau all day - you can take advantage of our flexible Glacier Shuttle to get back to town. If you arrive in the afternoon expect to get 90 minutes at the park. But don't worry! We had an amaying time on this tour! The first part was the whale watching, where our captain was Marina and our deckhand(?)/guide was Charlie. The ride in the boat was fast and quite comfortable. We saw whales, sea lions and were even so lucky to have spotted orcas as well. It was a very fun time on the water thanks to our captain and guide, who were really fun, entertaining and told us everything there is to know about these animals. Then we went to the glacier with a shuttle on which the driver also told us many interesting things before dropping us off. It was great, that we were able to spend as much time there as we wanted and took a shuttle back into town afterwards. Would recommend!

The tour was very well organized. My only complaint was that I was not sure where we would be met. We ended up walking into town when the bus basically met you at the ship. No big deal it was a nice walk. The bus driver to the glacier and dock was friendly and informative. We saw many eagles on the way to the glacier. It would have been nice to have a little more time to explore the glacier but we made good use of our time. Upon arrival at the dock the crew, Capt Rich, Aaron, and Danielle were friendly and informative. At our first stop we saw a hump back whale do a full breach out of the water !! We saw many other whales, and of course the scenery was spectacular. I would highly recommend this tour.
