Join us for Whale Watching in our cool Alaskan waters and then view one of 38 glaciers from the Juneau Ice Fields - the spectacular Mendenhall Glacier. We guide you on a 2 hour whale watching tour, spotting Humpback whales and other wildlife. Then off to the Mendenhall Glacier to spend some time hiking, watching fish spawn at Steep Creek or enjoy an outstanding view from the Visitor Center. If you are in Juneau all day - you can take advantage of our flexible Glacier Shuttle to get back to town. If you arrive in the afternoon expect to get 90 minutes at the park. But don't worry! That is the perfect amount of time to walk to nugget falls and take in the displays at the visitor center.

Tour time is a check-in time; departure is within 15 to 30 minutes.
The meeting place is under the cables in front of the Mt. Roberts Tramway.
All ports or docks are within 10 minutes walking distances, except one - the A Dock - which provides a “Downtown” shuttle to the Mt. Roberts Tramway.
Children must be accompanied by an adult
At time of booking, cruise ship passengers must provide the name of their ship
A moderate amount of walking is involved.
No food is allowed at the Mendenhall Glacier.
Tour operates in all weather conditions, so please dress appropriately in layers and for the likely chance of rain. It is recommended that you wear warm layered clothing, a waterproof jacket and comfortable slip-proof shoes
Always check with us regarding the shuttle schedule if you want to spend more than 1.5 hours at the Glacier park

Goldbelt Mount Roberts Tramway

This is our meeting point. We chose it because it is easy to spot from everywhere. We meet under the cables of the aerial gondola.

Inside Passage

We will drive you via bus out to Auke Bay Harbor, where you board our custom whale watching boats

Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center

We drive you via bus to this beautiful park. Time spent here depends on the time of day you arrive. Refer to your tour guide for the most accurate information.

Be carful when you take this tour because is very disorganized and confusing, no proper instructions from the company to the point that we missed the whale watching part of the tour due to their poor organization. Also, they never reimbursed my money or answer any of my emails to them, worse experience ever. do nor recommended at all.

Beautiful and Danielle, Sam, and Capt. Lance made it even better!!! Beautiful seeing the whales: Orcas and Humpbacks! Loved every minute. Boat ride was about 2 hours plus transportation.

Went on the morning of the 4th July. Got the boat from the cruise port as the roads were closed for the parade. So got an extra hour and a long fast boat ride to the 'Whale Area' which was great. Marina and the team are very knowledgeable and the Capt kept moving the boat around so we saw lots of wildlife. He kept going to places where no other boats were but whales etc were. After a couple of hours we were taken to the dock to get the bus to the Mendenhall Glacier and the walk down to Nugget Falls, both were amazing.
