Join us for Whale Watching in our cool Alaskan waters and then view one of 38 glaciers from the Juneau Ice Fields - the spectacular Mendenhall Glacier. We guide you on a 2 hour whale watching tour, spotting Humpback whales and other wildlife. Then off to the Mendenhall Glacier to spend some time hiking, watching fish spawn at Steep Creek or enjoy an outstanding view from the Visitor Center. If you are in Juneau all day - you can take advantage of our flexible Glacier Shuttle to get back to town. If you arrive in the afternoon expect to get 90 minutes at the park. But don't worry! That is the perfect amount of time to walk to nugget falls and take in the displays at the visitor center.

The meeting place is under the cables in front of the Mt. Roberts Tramway.
All ports or docks are within 10 minutes walking distances, except one - the A Dock - which provides a “Downtown” shuttle to the Mt. Roberts Tramway.
Children must be accompanied by an adult
At time of booking, cruise ship passengers must provide the name of their ship
A moderate amount of walking is involved.
No food is allowed at the Mendenhall Glacier.
Tour operates in all weather conditions, so please dress appropriately in layers and for the likely chance of rain. It is recommended that you wear warm layered clothing, a waterproof jacket and comfortable slip-proof shoes
Always check with us regarding the shuttle schedule if you want to spend more than 1.5 hours at the Glacier park

Goldbelt Mount Roberts Tramway

This is our meeting point. We chose it because it is easy to spot from everywhere. We meet under the cables of the aerial gondola.

Inside Passage

We will drive you via bus out to Auke Bay Harbor, where you board our custom whale watching boats

Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center

We drive you via bus to this beautiful park. Time spent here depends on the time of day you arrive. Refer to your tour guide for the most accurate information.

We had the best whale watching experience ever with our naturalists Sam, Danielle, and captain Jordan! The guides were very knowledgeable, attentive and enthusiastic. The very experienced captain took us to the location where we saw 6 whales putting on a great show! This was a very memorable trip! We highly recommend this group and company.

Our trip has been incredible and all the excursions have truly been enjoyable, astoundingly beautiful and have left an indelible impression. The glacier hike with Megan and Andra were informational and impressive. The whale watch with Capt. Jim were indescribably incredible. Tge five distinct humpback whales we saw and actually identified were so amazing but when one if them came right up to our boat, so close we could almost touch it was daunting yet unbelievable. We HIGHLY recommend this trip.

Capt Josh was the best! Went out of his way to show us bubble netting. Sam was great and Marina was out of her mind excited to teach us all about whales. Also saw 40 plus bald eagles between the port and bus transportation.
