Overview
The original Arts District bike tour allows you to see so much more of this under the radar, trendy neighborhood. Just past Little Tokyo, the Arts District, is full of galleries, tech-industry, nightlife, murals, history, architecture, shopping, breweries, and restaurants. Still an industrial district, but rapidly changing and full of surprises like low-riders, pop-ups and film shoots. We visit amazing murals, Hauser and Wirth Gallery, Sci-Arc, Bloom’s Square, Warner Brother’s Music, Art Share, La Kretz Innovation Campus, The American Hotel, some of L.A.’s best restaurants and many more surprising locations. You’ll hear about the origins, history, new development and current status of The Art’s District. Your guide will introduce you to the unique culture of street artists. We break at a fine art gallery, allowing participants to explore on their own and enjoy nearby cafes. Perfect for visitors looking for off the beaten path, in a creatives neighborhood locals don't even know about.

What To Expect
1
Handlebar Bike Tours
We are located at LA's 100 year old food hall, a destination in itself. Our home base has over 45 food vendors to choose from pre or post ride. All bike tours are round trip from DTLA's #1 destination we're proud to call home.
2
Art District
Artists lofts hiding out among the industrial neighborhood full of emerging clubs, pop-ups and restaurants. We wind through the alley ways checking out graffiti writing, culture and pieces. You'll see a part of L.A. few locals even know about. Viator allows us to describe tours with known locations only-well these locations aren't known. We've discovered them through urban exploration by bike, the big bus tours won't be coming to this part of LA anytime soon.
3
Angel City Brewery
The unofficial gateway to the Arts District adorned with local artist's work.
4
Hauser & Wirth
Our tour breaks here and guests have a chance to explore this expansive gallery complex on their own.
5
Art District
The largest concentration of murals and street art in L.A. You'll learn about the artists, process and production of these museum worthy walls. We strive to foster relationships with the artists and residents we feature and to respect the unique culture of street artists.
6
Little Tokyo
We ride through Little Tokyo to access the Arts District. Full of sushi, Anime and Ramen, when the gallery is closed we take our break stop here.
7
Art Share L.A.
Non-profit providing below market live work studios to keep artists in the Arts District
8
Japanese American National Museum
Located in Little Tokyo we stop by to see Museum of Contemporary Art and the Go For Broke Monument and explain how the history of Little Tokyo is entwined with the history of the Arts District and Los Angeles.

Took this tour just as something to do with my in shape and athletic friend that didn’t involve hiking (so I wouldn’t pass out lol). It was a really nice paced bike ride looking at murals in the Arts District of Los Angeles. Jen, our guide, was excellent about her knowledge. Even when some random walking yahoo attempted to challenge her info, she corrected him politely and accurately. She was also very courteous and let our group stop for any pics we wanted to take. I highly recommend if you’re into the art scene or just want a cool bike ride.

Thanks so much for your kind words, and taking the time to leave a review, we really appreciate it. We had a fun group, and its a pleasure for me to see everyone enjoying the Arts District.

We are a New Zealand family of four (twins aged 12) whom have recently toured Los Angeles and the west coast of Mexico. Having been to LA previously we were seeking to see and do something different away from the typical tourist 'traps'. Long story made short was that this tour was one of our highlights. Total value for $$$. The Arts District is awesome as is the art. Jen's commentary was excellent and gave us an increased understanding of the area, the history and loads other aspects. The biking itself was on flat terrain and very safe...even given the downtown LA streets. Don't pass this up...the tour is excellent and out only dissapointment was not having enough time to do another tour with Jen.
