Enjoy aerial views of blue ice-fields and hanging glaciers as you glide past the rugged peaks of the Chugach mountians. During your tour, your pilot will land on a glacier and you will have the once-in-a-lifetime chance to step out and explore the ancient ice. This 90-minute tour includes an extended return flight over the majestic waters of Prince William Sound, where you'll see a spectacular 400-foot-tall tide-water glacier and look for seals and otters in the blue fjords. What To Expect

Alpine Air Alaska

Your tour starts at our hangar at the Girdwood airport where you will receive a short safety briefing and board the helicopter for your flight to see spectacular glaciers and mountains. We ask all guests to arrive 15 minutes before your tour departure time.

Chugach National Forest

Fly over the glacier-filled mountains of Alaska's Chugach range. Your pilot will point out interesting features of the glaciers and peaks during your tour. Next you'll and on a glacier and step out on the ice!

Prince William Sound

Experience the beauty of giant tidewater glaciers as you fly over Prince William Sound. Gaze at the face of a might glacier; look down to spot seals and otters dotting the water below.

This was a last minute purchase for the day before we left Alaska and it made the whole trip worth it. This flight was absolutely incredible! Olivia was our pilot and she was amazing! We can’t rave about her enough! She was so much fun and an excellent photographer! I’m so glad we did the 90 minute tour and not the 60 minute as well. We will be talking about this trip for years and will recommend anyone that comes up here to book this!

This tour was the best part of our Alaska trip! The views were breathtaking and the landscape was stunning. Safety was clearly a top priority throughout the entire experience. Our pilot, Nick, ensured we always felt comfortable and secure. The helicopter was modern and well-maintained which added to our peace of mind it being our first time up in one. Everyone at Alpine Air was wonderful. Thanks to Nick for making it more than just a sightseeing tour, it was a memorable experience of a lifetime!
