Enjoy aerial views of blue ice-fields and hanging glaciers as you glide past the rugged peaks of the Chugach mountians. During your tour, your pilot will land on a glacier and you will have the once-in-a-lifetime chance to step out and explore the ancient ice. This 90-minute tour includes an extended return flight over the majestic waters of Prince William Sound, where you'll see a spectacular 400-foot-tall tide-water glacier and look for seals and otters in the blue fjords. What To Expect

Alpine Air Alaska

Your tour starts at our hangar at the Girdwood airport where you will receive a short safety briefing and board the helicopter for your flight to see spectacular glaciers and mountains. We ask all guests to arrive 15 minutes before your tour departure time.

Chugach National Forest

Fly over the glacier-filled mountains of Alaska's Chugach range. Your pilot will point out interesting features of the glaciers and peaks during your tour. Next you'll and on a glacier and step out on the ice!

Prince William Sound

Experience the beauty of giant tidewater glaciers as you fly over Prince William Sound. Gaze at the face of a might glacier; look down to spot seals and otters dotting the water below.

Can’t say enough about how amazing this was! Thomas, our pilot was exceptionally knowledgeable, kind and fun. This was definitely a bucket list tour. The landscape and glaciers were absolutely breathtaking! I would recommend this to everyone who wants to truly see part of Alaska’s beauty that you can’t see hiking into. Btw the glacier water was the clearest and most refreshing thing I’ve ever tasted. Highly recommend! Thank you Thomas , Jon and Angie 💯

The entire experience was excellent. We were warmly welcomed from the first step we took inside their office through the end of our flight. The ladies running it and our pilot, Martin, were nothing short of fantastic. We will be back for another tour. Well done!

We did the ultimate package and it was *so* worth it. The glacier landing was awesome - my personal favorite thing on our entire Alaska trip! Touring Prince William Sound was super cool, and worth seeing. My wife's favorite part was the dog sledding which came after our glacier landing/tour. Expensive but made our trip - worth every penny. Definitely recommend.
