Excellent tour, weā€™ll worth it. The hike is about one mile total, up and down the property with plenty of stops to taste Hawaiian fruits. Our tour guide, Troy, went slowly, explained plantings, history. Gardens are diverse. About midway we stopped for chocolate tastings under an open tent where water was available. We tasted 8 different types then visited the small cacao orchard. We learned a great deal about Hawaii and chocolate. We finished around 1230.

Great tour of stunning gardens. Tour guides were so personable and knowledgeable. Chocolate was delicious and we learned a ton about chocolate growing and chocolate making. 10/10 would recommend and go again.

Iā€™m so glad we found this tour! The garden is private and the ownerā€™s labor of love over the past few decades. The tour guide, Robin, had extensive knowledge about the history and importance of the various plants. The chocolate tasting was so informative! And delicious! Iā€™m going to have a new appreciation for every bite of chocolate from now on. The tour does have some walking over some uneven and steep terrain, so be sure to wear sturdy shoes. This is one of the few places on Kauai that you might regret wearing flip flops! Other than that, the whole morning was beautiful and educational.
