Home to bison, antelope, and over 250 species of birds, Antelope Island is a must-see for nature lovers and photographers. We will drive about 30 minutes from Salt Lake to the Island.

Fielding Garr Ranch

Fielding Garr Ranch is a historic and cultural site located in the heart of Utah, in the Antelope Island State Park area, on the Great Salt Lake. Named after its founder, Fielding Garr, this ranch is a testament to life in the American West during the 19th century. The ranch was originally established in 1848 by Garr, a Mormon pioneer, with the goal of raising cattle and improving agriculture in the region. Today, Fielding Garr Ranch has become a tourist attraction that offers a unique experience by combining history, nature and recreation. The ranch is surrounded by stunning landscapes, including vast prairies, mountains and panoramic views of the lake, making it a popular destination for history buffs and tourists who enjoy outdoor activities. We will drive about 35 minutes from the Ranch to Salt Lake City

We had a wonderful time. Our guides were amazing people. We learned a lot. The weather was perfect also. Seeing some of the 700 free roaming bison up close was incredible. Don’t sleep on this tour. It’s fantastic.
